The Signature Portrait Session

My simplest offering starts at $700, which includes:

  • Four final images
  • One location
  • One concept/theme/style
  • Everything that's included in every session

This very simple session works well for headshots, a single stunning portrait for the wall, or a mini-branding set (perfect for creating an image-based business card). It's an excellent starting point and introduction to my work.

Every Photo Session Includes:

  • Your pre-determined number of final images (included)
  • Natural or studio lighting
  • Posing in the style of your choice
  • No hard time limit
  • Pet(s) welcome
  • The addition of another person or two (e.g. your partner, your parents)
  • Your choice of proofing style: immediately after our session, via a private online gallery, or printed 5x7 proofs to keep
  • Every final image includes: a high-resolution, print-ready file with print release—
  • And a smaller, web-ready file
  • Additional images: $99 each
  • In-person delivery of printed products
  • No markup on any prints or printed products: they're offered at lab cost
  • A free Consultation to plan your shot-list, your wardrobe, and conceptual ideas

I use a modified version of commercial photography pricing. I like the simplicity of clear deliverables, clear communication, structured planning, and no guesswork for either one of us.

More involved sessions: multiple locations, multiple days, multiple people, a high number of final images, equipment or location rentals—affects the final cost.

You know what doesn't affect the cost? How you plan on using your final images. None of your choices affects the cost of the photoshoot because all printed products are offered at lab cost.

The beauty of using a commercial pricing model means you're free to enjoy your portraits as they're meant to be enjoyed—being seen as part of your daily life. Why create fine art portraits that you can't afford to proudly display everywhere you want?

Everyone's photographic needs and desired results are different. It's only fair to you that we discuss your situation in detail before I determine the cost of your photo session.
